A former Super Falcons coach Eucharia Uche has ruined the team’s struggle to make it out of the group stage at the 2019 World Cup.

Concise News understands that the Africans finished third in their group after losing controversially to France in their last game.

This means they have to wait for results in other matches to go in their favour before they make it to the second round of the competition.

However, Uche has said the team should have qualified easily without waiting for others to do the job for them.

“It is still unfortunate that we are still struggling to qualify because the Korea we beat is the same Korea beaten by every other team in the group,” she told Brila FM.

“We haven’t shown any obvious sign of improvement which I expect to see in the team.
I wish them well to qualify all the same but coaches should give opportunities to younger players who are hungrier in the team.”
