The Super Eagles of Nigeria will begin their fixtures at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt with a tie against Burundi on Saturday.

Nigeria, in Group B of the competition, are also going to face debutants Madagascar as well as Guinea who were runners up in 1976.

Having missed the last two editions of the continental showpiece, Gernot Rohr’s charges are eager to prove a point in the North African nation.

They won the 2013 AFCON in South Africa with the late Stephen Keshi as the head coach of the side.
