This was disclosed on Monday by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, in a video posted on Facebook.

“It is expected that this would bring under control, to a large extent, the issues of farmers and herdsmen crisis and other ancillary security challenges in that zone.”

He also spoke on the Security Council meeting between Buhari and his security chiefs.

Adesina said issues considered included the “farmers-herdsmen, arm banditry, cattle rustling and anything that constitutes security challenge.”
