Former vice-president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, couldn’t hold his breath when English football club, Arsenal, came back from behind to beat Leicester City in the opening game of the season of the English Premier League.

Arsenal, which had not been able to win its opening game in the past four season before yesterday, went ahead inside two minutes through record signing, Alexandre Lacazette.

The Foxes leveled the score two minutes later through Shinji Okazaki.

Jamie Vardy sent shock wave through the haert of the Arsenal faithfuls at the Emirate stadium when he he gave the visitors the lead, before Danny Welback restored parity for the Gunners with the last tourch of the first half.

Vardy, who was left alone in the 18-yard box converted his chance, nodding in Mahrez’s corner to give the visitors the lead again.

Substitutes, Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey came in to the team’s rescue scoring under three minutes to win the game.

On Lacazette

Atiku, who is an Arsenal fan lauded Lacazette for his performance against the 2015/16 EPL champions.

He said the Frenchman could become a legend like Thierry Henry.
