Argentina striker Sergio Aguero does not regard the Super Eagles as a threat to the two-time world champions at the Fifa World Cup.

Nigeria and Argentina were drawn in Group D of the football showpiece.

Iceland and Croatia are the two other teams in the group.

The Manchester City forward scored for the South Americans in a 4-2 loss to the three-time African champions in a friendly last month.

He did not feature in the second half of the game as he was rushed to a hospital after fainting.

Iceland, Croatia more important

Reacting to the draw for the soccer showpiece, the Olympic gold medalist feels Argentina’ first two games, against Iceland and Croatia, are more important.

“The group parings are not bad, but let’s not say it’s very good for us, Iceland is one of the debutants, they do not play badly, they are a very organised team and they have (Gylfi) Sigurðsson,” he said.

“Croatia have a great midfield, they have Modric, Rakitic, you have Perisic who plays outside and he’s very fast, Croatia is a bit more complete.

“They are the first two games, they are the most important, they will not be easy.”

On his health condition and the loss to Nigeria, he said such things happen in football.

“The second half against Nigeria I could not see, because I was in the Hospital, but when they told me how it panned out, I asked, ‘what happened?

“That happens sometimes, it was because they thought of me, they were scared, I do not know,” he added.
