Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has dismissed reports that he has been suspended by the National Working Committee (NWC) of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Concise News understands that there Akeredolu said this on Saturday following reports that he has been suspended by the APC.
He told The Independent that he was neither issued a query as claimed by the party leadership nor has he gotten any letter to that effect.
This news medium had reported in March that the governor was issued a query by the party leadership for “glaring anti-party activities, which greatly affected the fortunes of our candidates in the recently-conducted presidential and national assembly elections in the state.”
However, he has said: “I have not received any letter be it query or suspension. Thanks.”
