Ogbuja’s wife, Felicia, was arraigned at a Federal High Court in Benue State for her alleged role in the death of the teenager.

Mrs Ogbuja has been accused by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) of aiding the rape of Ogbanje during her stay at their residence.

Felicia Ogbuja was arraigned on a two-count charge for the alleged offence.

Earlier this year, Ochanya died of Vesico Virginal Fistula (VVF), an infection caused by years of sexual abuses while she lived with the Ogbuja’s

The late victim had told the court that Mrs Ogbuja knew about the sexual abuse, particularly when the younger Ogbuja raped her.

Also, Mrs Ogbuja’s husband is also facing trial with his son for the alleged crime.

While Mr Ogbuja is in custody of security operatives, his son, Victor, has escaped arrest and is yet to be found.
