Gunmen Invade APC Candidate's Home In Benue State |Benue News
The Katsina State Police Command has confirmed that 14 people have been killed in the clash between vigilantes and armed bandits in Tsamiyar Jino village in Kankara Local Government Area.

Gunmen have invaded the house of a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2019 elections Solomon Wombo in Benue State, Concise News reports.

The incident happened over the weekend with the hoodlums cutting off tying the security man before gaining entrance into the building.

Some eyewitnesses said that the attackers were up to six and wielded AK 47 Rifles at strategic locations in the house.

However, they did not Wombo at home as he had earlier travelled to his village in Katsina-Ala local government area.

They broke into the house but did not see anyone, which prompted them to opening boxes, cabinets, wardrobes and drawers and spilling the contents on the floor without carrying anything away.

Some electronic devices were also left untouched by the hoodlums as investigations into the matter have started.
