Pogba joined from Juventus for a then-record €100million three years ago and contract at United until June 2021.

The Red Devils, however, have an option for an extra year which could be triggered solely by the club.

However, with United not playing in the Champions League next term, the French star wants to leave the side.

His agent, Mino Raiola, is likely to start talks with the United hierarchy, once the Premier League season ends next week.

The English side have insisted that Pogba is not for sale, but they privately value him at €160m.

Real Madrid, the only club Pogba is considering joining, will try to lower a potential transfer fee to around €120m.
