The French star’s performance has been doubted by the current United boss Solskjaer and his predecessor, Jose Mourinho.

The coaches showed concern about the France striker’s attitude in training and matches, which led to suggestions that the 23-year-old could be sold.

However, Martial’s chance of remaining in United is secured, due to Glazer’s interference as a fan of the striker and admirer.

According to  Mirror, the former Monaco star signed a new contract until 2023 in January, worth £200,000-a-week, although he has scored just two goals in 13 appearances for United.

Recall that Martial witnessed an uncertain future last summer, as Mourinho was keen to sell the player because of his poor performance.

However, Mourinho’s plan to discard Martial was halted by Joel Glazer and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
