Human rights activist and lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) has said it is only Kano State that is serious in the fight against corruption.
Concise News understands that Falana also noted that most states in the country are not sincere in the fight against the monster.
He noted this on Tuesday in Kano while delivering a keynote paper at a two-day stakeholders’ dialogue on corruption in Nigeria.
He said: “if we are to fight corruption effectively as a country, the job shouldn’t be only that of the Federal Government.
“Even at the federal level too, Federal Government has too much control over EFCC and ICPC such that they are selective in their probes.”
He, however, urged the government to do more to create wealth for the people instead of fighting corruption.
