An ex-Benue State governor George Akume has executed and inaugurated a skills acquisition centre at Ikpayongo and a water project in Aliade town, Concise News reports. 

This online news medium understands that the outgoing Senator representing Benue North West District inaugurated the projects over the weekend.

According to Akume, he said the projects will help in turning the communities around for good.

He also lamented the absence of white collar jobs but expressed hopes that with the available training at the centre, trainees would become skilled and add value to their lives and their communities.

Also present at the occasion was the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the last election, Jime Emmanuel.
