Biafra: IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu Can ‘Go To Hell, Burn To Ashes’ – Ex-Nigerian Lawmaker

A Second Republic lawmaker, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, has lashed out at Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), for ‘giving the federal government of conditions for him to return to Nigeria’.

Mohammed said Kanu should “burn to ashes and go to hell”.

Kanu had recently expressed his readiness to return to Nigeria and continue his trial only if his security was guaranteed.

However, Mohammed condemned the IPOB leader’s stance, while urging the Federal Government to ignore conditions given by Kanu. Read more here.

Biafra Group Chooses Between Igbo Presidency And Sovereign State

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) has stated that what it desires is Biafra, not Igbo Presidency.

Talks of the Nigerian presidency going to a Nigerian of Igbo extraction in 2023 have been rife, but according to the group’s leader, Uchenna Madu, its commitment is firmly on the actualisation and restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra through the principles of non-violence.

“We shall never exchange our Biafra freedom for the position of being a Nigerian president of Igbo extraction,” he affirmed, according to The Nation. Read more here.

Biafra: IPOB Speaks On Nnamdi Kanu Returning To Nigeria

The outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, does not require permission from the ‘cabal’ in Aso Rock Villa to return to Nigeria.

A statement from the group’s Media and Publicity Director, Emma Powerful, recently, claimed an unnamed ‘cabal’ at the Presidency was surprised by the recent diplomatic feats Kanu had allegedly recorded.
