Like N-Power, Lagos Teachers To Get Tablets As Teaching Tool — Dep Gov

Just like N-Power beneficiaries, Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, on Thursday said that the state government has approved the provision of computer tablets for all primary school teachers in the state.

Speaking at the inauguration of primary school facilities in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area, Hamzat said that the tablets would assist the teachers in effective teaching of the pupils. Read more here.

‘N-Power Is Unique!’, Scheme Claims (Photos)

A scheme of the Federal Government of Nigeria, N-Power has asserted that it is “unique”.

At the ongoing training for N-Power Tech Software beneficiaries in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, the scheme revealed it partners with Federal Government Agencies and State Governments. Read more here.

N-Power: October Stipend ‘Alert’ Already Rolling In?

Beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power programme are already losing their patience over the habitual delay of their monthly stipend.

Beneficiaries’ stipends are not usually paid as and when due. Hence, some of the volunteers have besieged the official Twitter page of the scheme to ask the Federal Government to pay their October stipend as the eleventh month of the year enters day eight.

Every month, the Nigerian government spends about N15 billion as stipends on over 500,000 volunteers of  the N-Power scheme, a component of the National Social Investment Programmes (N-SIP). Read more here.

N-Power: Osinbajo Visits Another ‘Exceptional’ Volunteer (Photos)

The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has visited Eseoghene Gift Adiomamore, a woman, who is the founder of N-Power Agro Farmer’s Association (Delta State chapter).

The N-Power Agro Farmer’s Association is a cooperative of over 12,000 farmers across 25 Local Government Areas in the state.
