Brazilian youngster Rodrygo described his hat-trick as “perfect” as Real Madrid walloped Galatasaray 6-0 in a Group A Champions League clash played on Wednesday.
“I was aware as I hit the third that it was a perfect hat trick of left foot, header, right foot – but my team-mates reminded me when we got into the dressing room,” the 5ft 9in youngster said.
Concise News understands that Rodrygo, 18, became the second youngest player to net a Champions League treble.
“Hearing the Bernabeu singing my name is a dream come true,” Rodrygo said. “I’m so happy, it has been a joyous night but I must try and stay calm.”
Rodrygo clinically opened the scoring, thanks to a brilliant assist from fellow Brazilian Marcelo, before getting his second three minutes later as he headed in superbly from another Marcelo cross.
