Speaking ahead of the clash, Tijani noted that the Netherlands cannot stand on their way to winning the crowd for a record sixth time.

“I know this team and these players possess the effort to keep fighting back, no matter the situation,” Tijani told FIFA.com. “We don’t relent.”

He added: “We don’t give up easily. We force ourselves to keep pushing until we get the win.

“It gives us more confidence to push harder, knowing what our country has worked for and that they are behind us. So we’ll keep pushing.”

On his part, Sai’d who bagged a brace for Manu Garba’s side in the second match with Ecuador, said himself and his teammates are ready to go the whole haul in Brazil.

“We want to bring this World Cup back to Nigeria,” Sai’d said. “I want to make my country proud of the team.”
