Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has reacted to the “Chip Whip” number plate alleged to be for a member of the Kano state House of Assembly.
Concise News understands that the “Chip Whip” number plate has been trending on social media for wrong spelling.
In her reaction, Henshaw said the spelling ‘Chief Whip’ as ‘Chip Whip’ was as a result of poor educational system in Nigeria.
In a post on her Twitter handle, the actress said “Here we go again… This is what happens when we do not pay attention and provide quality education for all… Good morning o”

Meanwhile, the Chief Whip of Kano House of Assembly, Ayuba Durum, who is alleged to be the owner of the number plate denied being an accessory to the blunder.
Speaking with Daily Nigerian, Durum said “I was baffled by a torrent of messages drawing my attention to a gaffe on a number plate purported to be mine.
“To set the records straight, members of the Kano State House of Assembly are yet to be assigned any official vehicles”
“I use my private vehicle with a regular not customised number plate. My vehicle registration number is Gaya, Kano, and whoever knows me can verify this,” he said.
However, the Corps Marshal of Nigeria’s Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), has ordered investigation into the issuance of the number plate with “Chip Whip”.
“The Corps marshal has directed all field commands across the country to be on vigilance and clampdown on producers and issuers of fake number plates,” a statement from the Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, on Sunday, read.
