Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Alleges Another Attack On IPOB Members In Nigeria (Video)
The leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has raised a fresh allegation against Nigerian security operatives, claiming a combined team invaded the venue of IPOB gathering in Ebonyi state and shot at them.
Although he did not mention any death figure or when the said incident happened, the controversial activist claimed ‘many are seriously injured with some in critical condition’.
He did support his claim with video ‘evidence’.
A voice from the video berating the security agencies claimed that there were “more than thirty hilux vehicles parked”, thus interrupting their programme.
The voice further stated that; “we are here for peaceful inauguration; we did not provoke Umahi (Dave)”. Read more here.
What Will Happen To Biafrans If They Break Away From Nigeria – El-Jibrin
As hardcore Biafrans continue their agitation for a secession, a former lawmaker, Senator Muslihu El-Jibrin Doguwa has said that any region that breaks away from Nigeria ‘will cry’.
Doguwa, who was the chairman Senate Committee on Agriculture between 1999 and 2003, while speaking in a recent interview with Vanguard said the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) stand no chance for a republic, if they secede.
“Let me tell you about this issue of IPOB, Afenifere and northerners, we don’t see ourselves as Nigerians.
“During the days of Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, he talked about Nigeria, he talked about the problems in the East, he talked about the problems in the West and there was that regional issue; the Northern Region, the Southern Region and the Eastern Region and the rest.” Read more here.
