Kogi 2019: PDP Kicks Off Campaign Ahead Of November Poll
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Friday, kicked off campaign to reclaim Kogi State from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 16, 2019 governorship election.
PDP’s National Chairman, Uche Secondus, at the campaign, which kicked off in Lokoja, urged the electorate in the state to use the November 16 governorship election to seek for good governance.
Secondus called on the people of the state to vote Musa Wada, the governorship candidate of the party.
According to him, the issues of non-payment of salary and pensions would become a thing of the past, saying that roads, water and other infrastructure would also be provided.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the PDP Campaign Council, Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, charged the electorate to emulate their counterparts in his state by voting for the PDP on November 16. Read more here.
Kogi Election: Group Canvasses Support For Colossal Candidate
A pressure group, Fruitful Vision Youths Empowerment Initiatives (FVYEI) has urged Kogi people to massively vote for Governor Yahaya Bello in the November 16 governorship election.
FVYEI’s Manager, Josiah Nelson, said in a statement in Abuja on Friday that the governor had performed creditably to be re-elected.
Nelson further stated that Bello’s youth empowerment policies were outstanding and capable of putting the youth on the right track.
“Bello’s policies on youth empowerment, especially in the area of agriculture share commonness with our group’s vision.
“We have a strong belief that the governor needs another tenure to consolidate on the policies already in place,” he said. Read more here.
