During Thursday’s visit, Dare spoke of his support for the programme and his ministry’s plan to scale up digital literacy training for the youth in order to improve their employability.

He was received on arrival at the training hub by Afolabi Imoukhuede, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Muhammadu Buhari on Job Creation and Youth Employment.

The video of the minster’s visit was shared on Friday by a Twitter handle believed to belong to the Office of the new Federal appointee.

Speaking at the Federal Capital Territory on what was his maiden familiarisation with anything N-Power, Dare expressed his excitement at what he has seen at the training.

He promised that his ministry will support N-Power Tech Software, although he did not discuss the stipend increment of the graduate categories of the scheme.

N-Power beneficiaries currently earn a monthly stipend of N30, 000 (82.77 USD).
