Rapper AkA has dared Nigerian Afrobeat king, Burna Boy to lay hands on him as the latter is scheduled to perform in South Africa.
This comes barely two months after Burna Boy and the South African rapper clashed on Twitter over xenophobia attacks.
The afrobeat star had on September 3 vowed not to visit South Africa again over inhumane attacks on Nigerians.
Burna Boy threatened AKA with whom Ycee, had traded words with, over some perceived “xenophobic statements” made by him on Twitter during Nigeria’s defeat of the country at the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
“I personally have had my own xenophobic experiences at the hands of South Africans and because of that, I have not set foot in SA since 2017.”Burna Boy tweeted
“And I will not ever go to South Africa again for any reason until the South African government wakes the fuck up and really performs a miracle .”
Burna Boy also vowed to beat up AKA whenever he visits South Africa.
But seeing reports that the afrobeats star will be headlining the Africans Unite concert holding in Cape Town and Tshwane next month, AKA took to the micro-blogging platform to recount what Burna Boy earlier said.
He tweeted “I would love to attend this show and watch this man put his hands on me in my own country.”
