Kogi Election: PDP Cautions Banks Against Granting Bello Loan
The Peoples Democratic Party has cautioned commercial banks in Nigeria against giving loans or any form of credit to the Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration in Kogi State.
PDP explained that the state was not willing to bear any responsibility for such facilities when Bello vacates office on November 16, 2019.
A statement by PDP’s spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, cautioned financial institutions to note that Bello and his administration have a “Caveat Emptor badge and that the people of Kogi are not ready to inherit their financial liabilities.” Read more here.
Kogi: Governor Bello Redeploys, Appoints New Aides
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has approved the appointment of new aides and redeployment of some existing ones.
Secretary to the State Government, Folashade Arike Ayoade, disclosed this in a letter made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday.
According to the letter, the new aides were approved for the newly sworn-in deputy governor, Edward Onoja and the new Chief of Staff to the governor.
