He commended TB Joshua for being there for the needy persons, while stating that “it is not about building big churches and universities, having massive congregations and buying private jets”.

He wrote on his verified Twitter handle on Thursday: “The greatest threat to the Church today is the threat from within. Rivalry, pettiness, envy, jealousy and deceit amongst Church leaders is our greatest weakness. How many Church leaders do as much for the poor as T.B.Joshua yet some of them still choose to speak ill of him?

“It is not about building big Churches & Universities, having massive congregations & buying private jets: it is about encouraging, empowering, inspiring, helping and supporting the poor, the weak, the vulnerable, the rejected, the dejected, the wretched and the afflicted.”

Meanwhile, defying the barriers of language and distance, Aushrine Andrieke travelled all the way from Lithuania in Eastern Europe to Nigeria to seek God’s intervention at The SCOAN.

In a video posted on SCOAN’s Emmanuel TV official YouTube channel on Tuesday, as TB Joshua ministered to the congregation, he pinpointed the root of her troubles – a spirit of suicide which came from her father who killed himself twenty years ago.

According to Emmanuel TV, the congregant’s deliverance and subsequent testimony equally proved instrumental in changing her husband who was deeply engulfed in martial arts.
