Biafra: IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu Reveals Who Caused Mother’s Death

The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has fingered the Nigerian government in the death of his mother Ugoeze Sally Meme Kanu.

The IPOB leader announced on Sunday that his mother died August 30, 2019 in Germany after doctors battled unsuccessfully over a protracted illness she suffered.

He, however, blamed her death on the Federal Government, citing alleged soldiers’ invasion of his Umuahia, Abia State residence in September 2017.

He said: “Watching her children being hunted and killed by the federal government was the cause of her illness, and today we have lost her.” Read more here.

IPOB Leader’s Lawyer Mourns Passing Of Nmeme Kanu

Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, a counsel to the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has mourned the passing of Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Kanu, mother of the political activist.

Nmeme Kanu died in Germany over the weekend.

Multiple reports say Kanu broke the sad news via a video early Sunday morning.

Sympathisers have taken to social media to commiserate with the controversial Biafra crusader. And among them is legal practitioner, Ejimakor.

Accompanied with a picture of the deceased, he wrote on his known Twitter handle on Sunday: “I mourn with you, my Client, my Friend @MaziNnamdiKanu RIPP UGOEZE“. Read more here.
