FG Engages ICPC To Check Corruption In N-Power, Others
As the Federal Government of Nigeria keep on with the N-Power programme, it said on Monday said that it is engaging the services of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC), in fighting corruption in the implementation of its Social Investment Programmes (SIP).
The partnership which was officially made public on Wednesday at the Auditorium of the State House, Abuja, will also witnessed the launching of a Toll-Free Whistleblower hotline.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Communications Manager, National Social Investment Office (NSIO), Justice Tienabeso Bibiye.
The aim of this partnership according to the statement was to establish a systemic structure to identify, curb and address corrupt tendencies in the Programme. Read more here.
N-Power: Useful Information Released For Lagos Beneficiaries
All Alimosho – Lagos beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power scheme who are yet to receive their vest and cap have been told to go with their profile page to collect it.
A message disseminated by Abanikanda Isma’eel, the representative for N-Power in Alimosho Local Government Area of the State of Excellence indicates that distribution of the clothing is scheduled for Monday 21st of October, 2019 at Agege. Read more here.
