Award-winning songstress Tiwa Savage has been filmed going on her knees to greet popular Sound City presenter VJ Adams.
Concise News reports that this comes after broadcast journalist Charles Anazodo called out the singer on Twitter for not ‘having the courtesy to say hello’, during her visit to The Beat FM.
According to Anazodo, the singer had walked past him and his colleague, Joseph Faulkner, and did not deem it fit to greet them probably because of her personality.
But Anazoda got what he did not bargain for as Tiwa replied his tweet, asking him “who are you to think you can’t say hi first?”
The songstress also noted that she was late for her interview and may not have seen him because of the hat she had on.
In the viral video, Tiwa said: “good afternoon sir” repeatedly as she went on her knees.
Hours ago, Tiwa called out City FM OAPs who condemned Nigerian celebrities in a viral video on social media.
In the video, three presenters are seen in the studio taking swipes at Tiwa and Yemi Alade, without knowing that they were on air.
Reacting on her Instagram handle, Tiwa wrote: “ooo look at the so called FEMALE gate keepers #OAP that are supposed to help fellow female artists and shout that female should support each other are seen here abusing female artists not knowing cameras were still rolling.
“And they wonder why I keep to myself To the ladies in this video hope you keep the same energy when you see me in person #2Seconds.”
