Biafra: Why Igbo May Not Have Own Country – IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has said Igbo may not have their own country if they worship idols.

This online news platform learned that the pro-Biafra leader said this on Wednesday in his broadcast on Radio Biafra.

According to him, all “Biafrans” must worship God if they want to break away from Nigeria.

“If we go into battle with zoo by placing any idol, I’m warning you tonight, if you place anything made by human, man or woman, that is a shape, a form, an idol, before us as we go into this battle, Biafra will not come,” the IPOB leader noted.

“We will lose it because that is not the purpose for which Chukwu Okike Abiama sent us to West Africa, no! Not to worship idol but to do that which is right, to give him every adoration.” Read more here.

Biafra: What Army Did To Protesters In Abia

Over 27 members of Pro-Biafra protesters have been handed over to the leadership of 14 Brigade Headquarters of the Nigerian Army, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s Barracks, Ohafia, Abia State to the State Command of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).

The pro-Biafra members who consist of 4 females and 23 males were arrested in Aba, the commercial nerve of the state while they were holding a protest.

It was gathered that the group who marched round city were arrested by soldiers attached to Ngwa High School Forward Operation Base (FOB) under 144 Battalion Headquarters.

Sources at the army FOB told our reporter that pro-Biafra group claimed that they were members of the Biafran Army; an arm of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a claim that the IPOB spokesman, Comrade Emma Powerful had in a press statement debunked. Read more here.
