Toll Gates: Pro-Biafra Group Issues Threat To Buhari Govt.
The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has cautioned the President Muhammadu Buhari government not to build toll gates.
This warning came as a reaction to plans by the Nigerian government to re-introduce toll gates on federal roads across the nation.
However, in a statement on Tuesday, Concise News understands that the pro-Biafra group threatened to destroy any toll gate built by the Nigerian government in the South East.
According to MASSOB, the policy is a wicked move against the people of the South East as they would have more toll gates than other regions.
“The six states of South-South will have 21 toll gates; South-West with six states will have 22 toll gates; five states of the South-East 56 totaling 99 toll gates from the 17 southern states,” the group said. Read more here.
Biafra: IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu Makes ‘Stunning Prediction’ About Nigeria
Leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has said that Nigeria is divisible.
The Abia-born activist compared Nigeria to the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia – all now defunct.
He writes on his known Twitter handle on Tuesday: “All countries, like Nigeria, that were said to be INDIVISIBLE have all DISINTEGRATED. This includes the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, etc. Even Roman & British empires were once touted as not only indivisible but PERMANENT. Nigeria is DIVISIBLE.
