Mercy Eke has made history by becoming the first female housemate to win the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) TV reality show, Concise News reports.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Sunday announced the video vixen as winner of the ‘Pepper Dem’ edition of the reality show as she polled the highest votes to beat four other finalists – Mike, Frodd, Omashola and Seyi – after 99 days of drama and intrigue.
Also known as the queen of highlights, Mercy, by virtue of this feat, has won cash prize worth over 40 million Naira, brand new Innosson SUV, Dubai trip for two and other prizes.
The 26-year-old indigene of Imo state joins Katung Aduwak, Efe Ejeba and Miracle Igbokwe as winners of the popular reality show.
While Katung won the BBNaija in 2006, Efe was king of the second edition in 2017, before Miracle, also from Imo state, emerged as the winner of the 2018 show.
