The aforementioned defendants were arraigned by the Federal Government on seven charges bordering on alleged conspiracy to commit treason and money laundering among others.

This news medium had reported that the two were brought to the court on Monday by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), also known as the State Security Service (SSS).

But Sowore and Bakare pleaded not guilty to all the charges against them.

On Friday, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana, argued for the defendants, while Hassan Liman, another (SAN), another SAN, led the prosecution’s legal team to argue against the bail application.
