Nigerian players and some European clubs on Tuesday took out time to celebrate the West African nation’s 59th Independence Day.

Concise News understands that Nigeria gained independence on October 1st, 1960 from Britain.

And to mark the 59th Independence anniversary, several Nigerian players and European clubs took to their social media handles to wish the country well.

The players posted their photos while in action for Nigeria and the clubs shared pictures of players from the country who have featured (or still featuring) for them as seen below:
