El-Zakzaky: Indian Shi’ites Speak On IMN Leader's Treatment

The medical bill of the leader of the banned Islamic Movement in Nigeria, (IMN) Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife Zeenat will be paid by Indian-based Muslim group Anjuman e-Haideri, Concise News reports.

This news medium understands that El-Zakzaky and his wife were on Monday flown to the Asian country for medical treatment following a Kaduna court ruling.

The Islamic cleric is being treated at the Medanta Hospital, New Delhi with a letter by the Anjuman e-Haideri offering to foot his bills.

“Maulana Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, who is a prominent Shi’a Muslim leader having a large following worldwide, will be treated in your hospital,” the letter dated August 12th, 2019, read partly.

“The Executive Committee of Anjuman e-Haideri, Jor Bagh, New Delhi, by the direction of our Chief Patron, Maulana Kalbe Jawad Naqvi, has decided unanimously to bear all the medical costs incurred in India for his treatment. Kindly consider our request, do the needful and oblige.”
