Singer, Paul Okoye has mocked the Federal Government of Nigeria for referring to singer Tekno’s “Lekki nude video” as “a threat to national security.”
This is coming after the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) has vowed to sanction the Nigerian singer and use him as a scapegoat for releasing a video showing half-naked women.
The singer in the four-minute video showing semi-nude women dancing in a transparent outdoor display truck in Lagos.
Tekno, in the video, throws money perceived to be dollars at the young nude women.
“No single person is bigger than Nigeria,” a statement issued on behalf of the NCAC Director, Olusegun Runsewe, read.
“We are going to use him as a scapegoat to send a strong signal that this government does not tolerate nonsense and immorality, but discipline, which is our moral principle,” he added.
Reacting to the Federal Government’s statement, Paul Okoye shared a photo he took with Tekno and referred to the FG as “Fufu and Garri.”
In his caption, he wrote, “some people are just not Reasoning at all.”
