Everton manager Marco Silva has urged Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi to better his goal-scoring skills following his departure from Arsenal, Concise News understands.
Iwobi had last week sealed a £35m move to Everton, breaking his 16-year romance with his childhood club Arsenal.
The 23-year-old who featured for Nigeria at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) struck 15 times for the Gunners in 148 games.
Speaking about the Eagles, Marcos Silva also noted that he is an addition to the Toffees side.
“The position we see him in is clear, coming from the left,” said Silva.
“He can also play behind the striker really well. He can even play on the right.
“He is a strong player, good skills also, but one of the things I will be demanding from him is to start scoring more goals. He is important in that position also.
“But he will help us. He can put good intensity into a match, which is something I like in my attacking players. He will give a different option in the attack.”
