Revd. Father Ejike Mbaka has denied prophesying that God’s anger will fall on President Muhammadu Buhari, Concise News reports.
There were reports (not on Concise News) that Mbaka predicted that there would be downpour in Buhari’s Aso Rock residence on the 1st of October as a sign that God is not happy with the Nigerian leader.
The reports had also claimed that the clergyman said he would resign if his prediction does not come through.
However, in a statement, Mbaka described the reports as a ploy to blackmail him.
He warned those perpetrating the rumour to desist from it.
“I, Rev Fr Mbaka Ejike Camillus, don’t do Adoration Ministry Programmes on Thursdays as the reporters misconstrued,” he said.
“The spreading/blackmailing media report is a wicked character assassination on me from the accursed demonic agents of darkness.”
He also said, “I never prophesied anything about 1st October rain, thunder and darkness in Aso Rock nor God’s anger against President Buhari.
“Equally, I never talked about resigning as a Priest. Why are people attracting curses and God’s vengeance upon themselves?”
