The Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege has said prayers will help the country to jump over its struggles, Concise News reports.
Omo-Agege noted this on Saturday in his Eid el-Kabir message to Nigeria, urging Muslims to commit the country into God’s hands.
He also enjoined Muslims to work for the unity and progress of Nigeria, assuring that the legislature will work with the executive to make the President Muhammadu Buhari government a success.
“As Nigerian Muslims join the rest of the world to celebrate the Eid el-Kabir festivities, I rejoice with them and wish them a hitch-free Sallah celebration,” the Deltan noted.
“We must, regardless of religious, ethnic, regional, and political diversities, for that is the only way to build a greater Nigeria.”
