Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo is hopeful of sealing a permanent move to Spanish side Leganes from Chelsea.
He has been with the Blues since 2012 but has failed to make a first team appearance for the English side.
The defender has been in the loan market since then but is hopeful that the London side will accept a bid from Leganes, where he has been on loan, to sign him permanently.
The Madrid club will send in an improved bid for the €5 million rated defender.
“Yes, Leganes is a team that I want to be part of because the manager trusts me soo much and wants to give me a lot of opportunities,” he told Brila FM.
“I’m happy that they are putting efforts and they have increased their offer.
“Hopefully the deal happens, I hope Chelsea work with them and make the deal happen.”
