RevolutionNow: Police Justify Firing Of Teargas At Protesters

The Nigerian Police say the Revolution Now protest is illegal, justifying the firing teargas at the protesters.

Speaking to journalists after the groups were dispersed, Tijani Fatai, an assistant commissioner of police, Lagos state opined that the group did not seek permission of the place from the Police before gathering and therefore described their protest as unlawful.

Recall that the organizers of the Revolution Now, have on Monday defied the order of the federal government and Police, to protest at the National stadium in Surulele, Lagos.
