Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 calf strain on Monday, Concise News reports.
Messi who had just returned to the Nou Camp side from the summer break ,got the injury during the team’s training session.
“Messi will remain in Barcelona and will now not travel to the USA for the club’s tour,” the club said in a statement.
“His availability to come back to action will be dictated by his recovery from the injury.”
The 25-year-old Former African Footballer of the year reunited with her teammates in Spain on Wednesday.
Concise News learnt that Oshoala came on as a substitute and scored a hat-trick in the one-sided warm-up encounter.
On August 14, Oshoala will make a return to North London as her former club Arsenal take on Barcelona in a pre-season club-friendly.
Cortes’ side will be opening their new topflight side CD Tacon recently bought by Real Madrid on September 7.
