The United Nations (UN) has said Boko Haram insurgents have killed more than 27,000 civilians, Concise News understands.
This online news medium understands that Boko Haram launched its attacks in 2019.
According to the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Nigeria Edward Kallon, 130,000 have been displaced by the insurgents.
He said this in Abuja on Wednesday during a remembrance of 10 years of crisis in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states.
This is as he said most of them affected by the insurgency are in Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps.
Kallon, however, assured that humanitarian aid workers will continue to help those affected by the crises.
