Revealed: Biafra’s Nnamdi Kanu To Visit Nigeria Soon

Leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu will return to Nigeria in continuation of his agitation for sovereignty, according to Emma Powerful, IPOB spokesman. This online news medium understands that Powerful told The Cable on Monday that Kanu will visit Nigeria as part of his current tour of some countries where he is pushing for the group’s secessionist cause. However, Powerful was silent on when the visit will happen. “I will not disclose it (when) now until he makes it official for us to tell people,” The Cable quotes the IPOB promoter as saying over the phone. “At the appropriate time, we (will) communicate (to) you people. Government of Nigeria can do whatever they like. Biafra will come and nobody can stop Biafra.” Read more here.

RUGA: Biafra Group Reveals Herdsmen Plan For Southern Nigeria

The Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) has alleged that herdsmen want to attack the Southern part of the country. Concise News understands that the pro-Biafra group also reminded the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNGs), that “the ultimatum given to Southerners to vacate the North will be expiring by tomorrow, 30th July 2019.” The CNGs gave the ultimatum following the suspension of the Rural Grazing Area (RUGA) by President Muhammadu Buhari. In a statement on Monday, the BNYL reminded the group that the ultimatum and threat issued will elapse on Tuesday. It, however, vowed that “any action from the Northern groups will be retaliated.” According to the BNYL, it “will not issue further warnings over the killings by Jihadist Fulani herdsmen in the Southeast and South-South.” Read more here.

Biafra: What Nnamdi Kanu Said About Proscription Of Shiite Group

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has frowned at the recent move by the Nigerian government to ban the Shiite group known as the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN). Kanu, whose IPOB was similarly proscribed by the Federal Government in 2017 while condemning the action through his Twitter handle on Monday, described Nigeria as an official terrorist State “where harmless #IPOB & #Shiite are slaughtered, detained & declared terrorists while MACBAN (Fulani herdsmen) listed as the 4th deadliest terrorists in the world are paid, pampered & invited to attend conference in Minna.
