Police Give Update On Siasia Mother’s Kidnap

Police in Bayelsa state, southern Nigeria, say they are working tirelessly to ensure that the kidnapped mother of former Nigeria international, Samson Siasia, is rescued from her captors.

Spokesman for the police in the state, SP Asinim Butswat, made this known on Sunday.

Siasia’s mum, Beauty Siasia was abducted on 15 July with two others in Odoni community, Sagbama area of Bayelsa.

Conciser News understands that the 79-year-old woman, who was kidnapped with Florence Douanana, 65, and her daughter, Selekire Douanana, 17, has spent 14 days with the kidnappers.

“Yes, investigation is on-going to rescue the victims,” NAN quoted the police spokesman as saying.
