Guardiola disclosed that he can go on with his side without signing any new central defense this summer.
“If we believe we can, if not we will survive without a new central defender,” the City boss told reporters on their pre-season tour.
Asked if he expects more signing to arrive, Guardiola replied: “No, not many. I like the faces that we have.
“Maybe but the transfer market is so difficult and the team is good enough. Maybe zero, maybe one, maybe one and a half.”
City won their last pre-season campaign with a 3-1 victory over Yokohama.
