Diego Costa netted four goals to help Atletico Madrid thrash local rivals Real Madrid 7-3 in the last match of their United States tour in New Jersey on Friday.

Atletico started with some of their new signings, among which was record signing Joao Felix, who instantly humbled Real on the counter before engaging Costa for his opening goal in the first minute.

Felix, Angel Correa, Saul Niguez and Costa all found the back of the net.

Costa scored his hat-trick six minutes into the second half, before Nacho pulled one back for Real.
