A yet-to-be identified policeman has reportedly killed a female trader along Ojodu Berger in Lagos state, southwest Nigeria, after the woman reportedly refused to be arrested.

According to an eyewitness, the trader had refused ‘arrest’, over what this news medium has yet to ascertain, when the policeman hit her on the head, resulting in bleeding.
Our reporter, who was at the scene of the incident, gathered that the woman was put in a Honda car, with plate number SMK693AQ, and taken to the Ojodu Divisional Police Station – a place no one was allowed to gain access.
After about 45 minutes, the body was taken out of the police station in the same vehicle, with a police van escorting it.
In an interview with another trader in the area, it was learned that the police operative has always come from time to time to ‘arrest’ the woman.
According to the trader, who did not want her name mentioned, the victim was always reported to the police by a man she was not on good terms with.
