Leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has aimed a dig at newly confirmed Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Ibrahim Tanko Mohammad, asserting that the country “celebrates primitivity”, Concise News reports.

Tanko Mohammad was confirmed as the CJN by the Senate last Wednesday.

Mohammad, who has been in the position on acting capacity, was confirmed after screening by Senators.

He succeeds Justice Walter Onnoghen, who resigned due to his failure to fully declaring his assets.

The 65-year old’s confirmation follows President Muhammadu Buhari‘s request coupled with the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC).

Kanu on his known Twitter handle added a photo of a man in an early stage of the human race and compared it with Mohammad’s.

He writes: “From the mayhem of an empty coke bottle falling from the sky to the improbability of a Sharia Alikali heading a Common Law legal system in Nig. today we celebrate primitivity at its very best. The gods must indeed be very crazy!”

Kanu has repeatedly accused Buhari’s government of Islamization and ‘Fulanization’ agenda.
