Liverpool Join Race To Sign Neymar

Liverpool have joined the race to land Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar, according to Spanish news medium OK Diaro.

The Brazillian has been heavily linked back to Barcelona but the French giants will only sell the player if they receive an offer similar to the £200m they paid to get him.

Now Liverpool are said to be leading Real Madrid in the race to sign the Brazilian.

Jurgen Klopp has a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal – Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah – but they would not need to be sold to land the 27-year-old.

Manchester United have been linked but they could only acquire Neymar if Paul Pogba was sold.

Transfer News: France Defender Set For Arsenal Medical

Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba is set to undergo a medical ahead of a £27m switch to Arsenal, according to Football London.

Saliba will still remain with Saint-Etienne, though, on loan until the end of next season.

Arsenal will have to wait until the 2020/21 to see him play at the Emirates.

The Gunner fought off strong competition from Tottenham to get the centre-half’s approval over a transfer.

Unai Emery’s side are now poised to confirm the deal once Saliba passes his medical.
