President of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Suleman Johnson has asked Nigerians to be in prayers for the speedy recovery of survivors of the July 3 tanker explosion in Benue state, Concise News reports.

Scores were confirmed dead with many injured when a tanker loaded with petroleum product exploded in Ahumbe village on the Alliade/Makurdi Federal Highway in Gwer East Local Government Area of the Northcentral state.

And the Edo-born preacher who was in Benue state for a crusade visited the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Makurdi where the majority of those that survived the ghastly incident is receiving treatment.

The televangelist who claimed he supported the fire victims with N4 million tweeted on his verified handle on Thursday:

“Was at FMC in benue state.saw d victims of the fire explosion that claimed over 100 lives and few survivors.pls all spirited Nigerians should be in prayers for their speedy recovery.and support them too.gave my little support of N4million and will do more.”

After the monetary donation, Apostle Suleman vows to do more.
