Revealed: The Man Who Saved Super Eagles' Samuel Kalu's Life

Super Eagles physiotherapist Nnaemeka Anozie has been identified as the man who saved the life of winger Samuel Kalu when the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) medalist collapsed in training prior to the commencement of the 32nd edition of the competition in Egypt.

Concise News reports that Kalu’s teammate John Ogu made this known in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Friday.

Ogu asked Nigerians to appreciate Anozie, highlighting that had the healthcare professional not been next to Kalu when he slumped, the France-based athlete might have given up the ghost.

“Hi Everyone,please while we celebrate our team at the AFCON,please let’s take a time and say ,Thank You to our Physio. I can’t imagine if he wasn’t next to Samuel Kalu after he collapsed . Mr Nnaemeka Anozie is a life saver,” the 31-year-old wrote.
