The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State, has cautioned its members against instituting needless litigations.
The PDP in a statement on Friday said it has all it takes to settle issues within members.
Concise News understands that the warning came in as a reaction to the victory of Governor Seyi Makinde at the Supreme court.
A PDP member Ayoade Adeseun had dragged Makinde to the apex court over the party’s primary that produced Makinde as the governorship candidate.
According to the statement, the win is a testament to the transparent, free and fair primary election that produced Makinde and other PDP candidates in the state.
”We want to assure the people of Oyo State that the government of the PDP will be a clear departure from the past when impunity, indiscipline, disorderliness and lack of cohesion were the order of the day,” the statement said.
It lauded the win, assuring residents of the state that Makinde’s government would bring stability and transparency.
